BANDITS IN THE WEED

Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound in marijuana, is a vital pain reliever. But a new report warns that some products sold as CBD or hemp oil may contain a synthetic form of CBD that may be responsible for at 300 E.R. visits in just four months in Utah and elsewhere. Initially discovered in 1940 and discounted not to be pharmaceutically active by the federal government, even though the Japanese during the Second War World used it successfully in combat to receive pain and suffering. How pathetic; deep-seated prejudice caused CBD to never get a fair review by the federal government, and costs many lives during the war because of it. Even today, cannabidiol has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration as a prescription drug for medical uses, except for two rare forms of childhood epilepsy. A derivative in the hemp plant, CDB accounts for 40 percent of the plant’s extract. CBD can be inhaled as smoke, as an aerosol spray into the cheek and by mouth, taken as oil, capsules, dried cannabis or as a prescription in a liquid solution.

Beware - the synthetic form of CBD can kill you.
